The restaurant used to be called “Another One” but that restaurant moved to Fortress Hill, however the chef from “Another One” stayed and opened his own restaurant in the original location. So, basically the only thing changed is the name.

“Yum Cha” plays an important role in Cantonese eating culture. It is for weekend family gathering, luncheon with co-workers, breakfast with friends after an overnight karaoke, YES, YUM CHA is a social activity more than just eating. Usually the restaurants for Yum Cha are very crowd and noisy.

This restaurant in Tai Hang is not noisy, not too crowd and stylish. Also the dim sum here is not in fusion style, tastes authentic just like in a normal Chinese restaurant (that is important !)

Wun Sha’s Kitchen (G/F., 33 Wun Sha Street, Tai Hang)

This year (2008) the fireworks was particularly amazing. It lasted for more than 23 min, with 2008 Beijing Olympic theme, e.g. the fireworks showed Beijing Chinese characters (北京) and the number “2008″.

There were also many new creative fireworks shapes : flower, star, gold, number 8, etc.

There was also one looked like a slow motion snowflake. This fireworks (snowflake) with bright golden yellow color, was slowing falling from the sky to the sea. Very romantic.

One of the great things about living in Tin Hau is you can have a good spot for fireworks easily.

Red in chinese is 紅, in Japanese Kanji should be 赤 (aka)

From Tin Hau to HK station (in Central), taxi ride takes about 10 min (~ HKD 35)

Then you can check-in for your flight at the HK station (90min before your flight) and take the airport express right there straight to the airport !

During Chinese New Year, Chinese people like having colorful flowers decorate at home, 花開富貴 – wishing the beautiful flowers can bring good fortune for the New Year.

I like having flowers at home, it makes home more lively and cozy.

He told me he loves this Japanese restaurant in Tin Hau. I always thought it is  just a HK style fish ball snack store, because of its name somehow made me feel like that.

Anyway, I always wanted to go there but somehow changed my mind.

We ordered the above two items, the salad was so-so.

The soup was very yummy tho, highly recommended.
